Steve Borys
Steve is a relatable business consultant who specialises in leadership development and assessment. He has over 30 years experience in various leadership roles in Aviation, including having direct line management of 1,200 employees, culminating in a senior management position within an asset management company in the corporate jet market.
Throughout his career he has been responsible for the recruitment and selection process including HR functions to aid people development, change management, culture change and corporate stability. Through his role as a Qualifications Verifier for the Scottish Qualifications Authority he championed quality assurance and delivered SVQ Management Qualifications to industries such as construction, engineering and the oil & gas sector.
He is a consultant that comes with years of independent experience helping support a variety of companies with change management solutions or innovative recruitment needs. Clients include Barclays, Vodafone, Phillips, Royal Mail , BDO, Jaguar Land Rover, PwC, Virgin Media and KPMG. He is an established assessor for the Home Office and he delivers training solutions to various Civil Service Departments such as the MOD, HMRC and the Foreign Office. Working with Universities he has been lead assessor during Graduate Assessment Centres to help students develop their employability skills, both face to face and virtually.
Steve has a passion for psychometric test uses and holds BPS Level A&B, OPQ, WAVE 360 & match 6.5, NEO-3 as well as the full suite of Be Talent products including Psychological Safety and Resilience.
He has recently enjoyed being one a small team of facilitators delivering a successful culture change program for Managing Directors, Directors and People Leaders across a Global Banking Network.
