Liza Maughan
Liza has worked in Recruitment and HR for over 25 years. She started her career in banking recruitment consultancy services, recruiting at various levels into international banking in the City of London. She then moved to PwC where she worked in the qualified accountancy recruitment sector and then moved to Human Resources role where she continued recruiting for support roles and responsible for National IT recruitment and became involved in various HR projects and recruitment campaigns such as the introduction of the flexible benefits scheme, across the whole of PwC. She also fully qualified with the CIPD at this time.
After a career break Liza continued to work in recruitment and HR working on a freelance basis recruiting for large corporates in the early careers recruitment for HSBC, Exxon Mobile and PwC and various recruitment campaigns for the International Recruitment Programme at HSBC responsible for interviewing, cv assessment/sifting, assessment etc. She also started to offer HR and Recruitment services for small local businesses. Liza enjoys getting to know her clients and understanding their needs at the same time as offering the best candidate experience.
Liza continues to work across a wide range of public and private sector clients including HSBC, Civil Service Fast Stream, TFL, Virgin Media, PwC, BDO, Border Force, DWP and others along with small clients across different sectors, offering recruitment assessing, interviewing, customer service, HR services etc.
Liza also volunteers on the CIPD Steps Ahead Programme, offering mentoring services to young people and those returning to the working environment and other young people who require help with their CVs, interviewing preparation, assessment centres etc.
