We have worked with Sarah for the last three years. A partnership, which began with Sarah designing and delivering our ‘How we talk about Pay’ workshop. This was a new workshop, I wanted to introduce for all our people managers, to aid them in the often difficult conversations about salary reviews. Over the last three years, through the delivery of this workshop, she has supported over 90 Managers to have far more effective and consistent salary review conversations. In the last two years, I have been able to measure the effectiveness of the training having seen an improvement in scores in our People survey relating to reward conversations.
Sarah has a great talent for bringing together the theoretical with real life practical guidance. Our Mangers, come away from her sessions, not only saying how easy she is to get along with but how practical the support has provided to them is. She does not back away from supporting people with some more challenging scenarios, she is straight talking but not blunt.
In addition to our Pay workshops, Sarah designed and delivered workshops to support our Mangers through Coronavirus with a series of workshops called ‘ How we lead through a crisis’. In addition to these she facilitated a one day workshop with the Leadership team (CEO & Direct reports). Sarah, combined her crafts to lead an emotionally challenging session and draw all that was discussed to a conclusion with actions. Not an easy task.
Without a doubt, Sarah cares about what she has designed and how she delivers it. She also listens and applies what she has heard to what is needed.
