Purpose of the project
Jarred Consulting has been working with the Early Talent team for 3 seasons. Our role was initially to review everything from the competencies through to the assessment materials and then create bespoke end to end materials that reflected the unique culture and tech disruptor nature of the firm.
Since the successful introduction of these materials we have continued to support the team by providing additional resource at peak times of the year. Most recently we have supported their move to a digital assessment platform provider.
How Jarred Consulting helped
We worked closely with the Early Talent team to prepare and adapt their current assessment centre materials for the move to TopScore, their chosen platform provider. The project involved working alongside the TopScore team ensuring a smooth and seamless transition as the materials were moved onto the platform ready for a successful first season using a digital assessment platform.
As all current exercises were fit for purpose new materials were not needed at this time. We therefore took each activity and looked at every aspect (candidate and assessor briefs, competency definitions etc) to ensure the exercise would still deliver the best assessment decisions whilst leveraging the power of TopScore as a tool. We spent time aligning the competency indicators to the platform setup to ensure robust reports were generated that gave the candidates an opportunity for clear and relevant feedback while minimising the work for assessors and the graduate team.
Once the materials were online and the assessment centres running, our consultants were involved in the assessment of candidates remotely. Each assessor had an individual login and was able to assess candidates in a timely way, inputting notes and scores into the system directly making for a quicker decision-making process.
