Mairéad is an executive, leadership and team coach who is passionate about working with clients in being at their best in their personal and organisational lives through enabling them grow and thrive. She leverages extensive business and organisational experience from her prior career in financial services at AIB Group at home and abroad. Her senior roles included leading teams through transformational change in growth and turnaround cycles, leading shared service delivery while also leading HR development strategies to ensure the development of leaders at all levels, including C-Suite, with coaching at the heart of those approaches. She has partnered with leaders in creating the conditions for engaged, empowered and high performing teams.
As a qualified and accredited executive, systemic and team coach, Mairéad now works independently with a range of clients across diverse sectors including financial services, retail and manufacturing, education, not for profit and the public service. This experience, together with her own development journey as a leader and as coach, enables her to relate easily to the challenges, tensions and opportunities that exist at individual, team, and organisational level.
Mairéad works flexibly with clients to unlock the potential and performance:
- Working with leaders one to one in developing their capability to lead, she builds and maintains trusted, professional coaching relationships through which she can bring the appropriate mix of challenge and support. She builds trust and psychological safety, enabling and empowering individuals to be open and authentic as they develop greater self-awareness and experiment with new ways of relating and leading.
- As a team coach, she works with the whole team in creating clarity and alignment and optimising the team’s collective vitality, creativity, and performance.
- As a systemic coach, she attends to how the individual or team impact their wider relational systems and influence positive outcomes for the organisation’s stakeholders. This often includes discovering fresh perspectives on purpose, role, challenges, and opportunities.
With a first class honours MSc in Business and Executive Coaching from UCD Smurfit Business School, Mairéad is qualified and accredited as a professional Executive/Leadership Coach and as a Team Coach. She is a member of the Association for Coaching and accredited at Senior Practitioner level by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) at Senior Practitioner level.
