Angela Sherring
Angela has worked in the areas of talent management and talent development for over 15 years.
She is an experienced leadership and management facilitator and executive coach. Her most recent
experience has been working in her own business for clients in the professional services, legal and
charity sectors.
Angela’s early career was in banking in Australia and then recruitment when she first moved to
London. She then made a career change and moved into the area of talent development firstly
working for Penna in their consulting business. She then completed several talent development
interim contracts in the health and insurance sectors before moving into professional services working
initially for Grant Thornton as a learning programme facilitator and development centre specialist
before moving to Deloitte as head of tax skills learning.
In her role at Deloitte, Angela recruited and developed a learning team. She influenced the people
development strategy and budget through managing the non-technical leadership skills curriculum
which was available to 3000 people in the tax practice. During this time, she and her team designed
and continually improved programmes and introduced a coaching process to give tax professionals
access to coaching. One of the projects she was most proud of was when she worked as a project
lead to build and successfully launch the first three-week residential tax graduate programme held at
Warwick University. This covered induction, leadership, and technical skills topics.
After a short career break, Angela then set up her own business in 2017, She has been responsible
for designing and facilitating leadership, management and well-being and resilience programmes for
professional services and law firms. She is also a volunteer facilitator for the charity Action for
Happiness which compliments her work in well-being.
Angela is also an executive coach who works with senior leaders in these sectors. During her career,
Angela has managed people, achieved promotion, returned to work after maternity leave, learnt to
balance work and family life and she has established her own business. She provides coaching
support to clients on many challenges she has faced herself. These topics include:

• Successfully navigating organisational change
Angela believes she provides each coaching client with the right balance of support and challenge to
enable them to explore and unlock the answers they need to achieve their goals.
Angela has several coaching qualifications from the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) and
Results Coaching Systems. She is an NLP practitioner with International Training Seminars. She is
qualified to use profiling tools such as MBTI, OPQ, ECR 360, CAPP Strengths profile. She is a Mental
Health first aider with St John’s Ambulance.
Angela is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), Association for
Coaching (AC) and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
