Jude Sclater
Jude has over a decade of experience as an executive coach and trainer working across charity, construction, consulting, finance, food and beverage, infrastructure investment, legal and professional services.
She holds an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck and is an accredited practitioner coach through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Jude is also accredited to deliver the Hogan and MBTI psychometrics and is a certified team coach and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) practitioner.
Originally from New Zealand, where she was a client facing internal auditor for Deloitte, she brings an antipodean attitude of saying what you mean and making do with what you have. She believes people already have everything they need to thrive in their jobs, achieve their goals, and improve their performance – they just don’t know how to access it yet.
In bringing an impartial ear, a healthy dose of challenge, and the energy needed to build momentum, Jude empowers people to overcome what’s keeping them stuck and gets them closer to their potential.
In London she has worked as an Internal Auditor for Pearson Group globally and as a project manager in Penguin Books before going back to Deloitte to retrain in Learning and Development. She was part of their internal coach cadre and responsible for the leadership development of the Audit and later Risk Advisory service lines.
Examples of her training work include:
- Delivery of a 3 day in person intensive leadership development programme for Senior Managers to ready them for promotion to Director.
- Delivery of an Introduction to Coaching workshop to support managers at all levels to have career focused conversations with their direct reports.
- Facilitated peer coaching circles over Zoom for women to improve their public speaking confidence
As a coach Jude’s sweet spot is working with rising stars; new leaders who are ambitious and push themselves to achieve success in their career and life. They may suffer from impostor syndrome, the enduring worry of “being found out”, or they have hit an obstacle they can’t find a way through.
Outside of work Jude lives with her husband in South East London, spends countless hours in her garden and loves true crime podcasts. She’s got heaps of recommendations so don’t be shy to ask!
