Louise Townley
Louise is a qualified solicitor and now a specialist in graduate resourcing, having worked on a self-employed basis since 2018. She has a 2:1 degree in Law from Bristol University.
Louise’s career began as a solicitor, working at Halliwells in Manchester and DAC Beachcroft in London. As a specialist in insurance litigation, specifically industrial disease, she acted for a number of large insurers and the work was always people focused and judgement based. Louise carried out various client secondments at both firms and always enjoyed the client facing aspect of the role. On a day to day basis, the work involved assessing the quality of claims, interviewing witnesses and liaising with medical and engineering professionals and with such experience, recruitment felt a natural next step.
With a long term relationship with PwC, as an assessment centre assessor and screener, Louise has also worked with Mars, EY, BDO, Unilever, BP and Kent Oil and Gas. In the charity sector Louise currently assesses for Police Now.
Aside from recruitment, Louise volunteers at a local primary school, supporting the SENCO department and is a trustee of the charity Cure DHDDS.
