Melanie Steele

Melanie has over 25 years’ experience in HR and Transformation across a broad spectrum of organisations and recognisable brands, including FTSE 100 companies and Central Government. She has worked closely with politicians, CEOs and third-party suppliers.
During this time, Melanie has consulted in the Transportation, Retail, Engineering, Professional Services; Financial Services, FMCG, Health, not-for-profit and public sectors, including the Cabinet Office (10 Downing Street) in the UK, Europe, International. She has worked across a range of organisations in terms of size (60,000 to self-employed) and ownership structures (private, public, joint venture, partnerships) and has experience working from Board to Graduate level. Melanie combines her HR Generalist executive skills with HR/Organisation Development change, consulting and project work. Her expertise includes the following areas:
• Leadership Advisor and confidant to Managing Directors, Members of the SLT and HR Directors.
• Modernising HR Functions to secure greater alignment to the business whilst upskilling the HR Team.
• HR Systems Implementations to ensure the people, process and tech elements integrate for business effectiveness
• Consulting on People Projects including reviewing HR/business Operating Models and providing recommendations for greater efficiency & effectiveness.
• Leading Change and Transformation agendas to drive modernisation across businesses.
